Public Safety, Health & Community Well-Being

  • Strengthened public safety and community values by creating the Gratitude and Honor Memorial to honor Irvine residents who gave their lives in service.
  • Expanded access to healthcare for over 1,000 uninsured children and families through the Irvine Children’s Health Program, leveraging state and county funding to maximize impact.
Sukhee will be a leading voice at preserving this legacy of keeping Irvine the safest and healthiest city for all who this great city home. 

Education & Investing in the Next Generation

  • As Irvine’s “education mayor,” Sukhee built strong partnerships with IUSD and TUSD to align city leadership and school district priorities.
  • Consistently invested city resources in public education, improving learning environments and expanding opportunity for Irvine’s students and families.
Sukhee will fight to ensure the City is supporting IUSD & TUSD by investing in school facilities, student safety, and academic achievement. He will also prioritize a strong partnership with local colleges and universities to expand opportunities for Irvine youth.

Housing & Responsible Growth

  • Led thoughtful housing growth at the Great Park that balanced new development with Irvine’s master-planned community character.
  • Advanced housing policies focused on affordability, infrastructure readiness, and protecting neighborhood quality of life.
Irvine must promote smart growth that reflects community input, diverse senior and family housing options, and affordability that enhances quality of life. Sukhee will bring that outlook and experience in shaping housing policies. 

Transportation & Traffic Relief

  • Secured $121.3 million in Proposition 116 funding to modernize and expand Irvine’s transportation infrastructure.
  • Delivered transit and mobility improvements that reduced congestion and prepared the city for future growth.
Sukhee wants to expand Irvine CONNECT and leverage partnerships with state and federal agencies to secure Irvine more funding for our roads, traffic relief, and public transit.
